Intro Paragraph

Intro Paragraph

Hello, today I'm actually going to write about a topic that I want to write about. My intro paragraph for the essay I am going to write about determination.

Colin Powell once said, “A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” This is never more true when faced with adversity. The one big thing that links all the greatest people of this world is the determination and hope for a better world. That is what drives and motivates them. In Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus Finch has the will to do what is absolutely right. In the book, The Forever War, Mandela has the resilience to see the war to its bitter end. In Elie Wiesel's novel, Night, Elie himself is the victim of terrible actions, but he had the endurance to outlive his captors. As seen in Atticus, Mandela, and Elie’s stories, grim determination can help transform the world for the better.

Innovations

The Big Innovations

So, what do you want me talk about today? Something deep? Something shallow? Oh, ok. What innovation do I think has changed the world the most. Well, this is a big one isn't it. Personally, I think the most important innovation was near instant communication. This allowed us as a species to share ideas and innovate across thousands of miles. This allowed us to stay in touch with our families even when we are halfway across the world. This augmented businesses and helped them have board meetings with members in China, France, and India to name a few. This wove an international, interconnective web of thinkers and innovators to change the world and help bring about the next big thing for this world.
