Transformations

Transformations

Is it the jokes at the end of my blog? Is that why you keep coming back? Should I stop? Keep going? I'm not even sure anymore. Here, allow me to bestow upon you the reward for most persistent individual. Now, let me discuss with you what I would like to transform in this world. I would like to transform millions of peoples lives. How are you going to do that, you may ask. Well I'm going to do it with sleep. Now I know that you may be thinking that you can't transform anything with sleep, let alone millions of peoples lives. Actually, you can. Roughly 60 million americans suffer from insomnia each year. I would like to create something that can regulate your sleep for you, without needing to take a pill every night. I don't want to save everybody's life, I just want to make a few peoples life worth living.

Courage

Courage

Someone new? Again? Wow, I never thought that I would get this popular. Next thing you know, I'm going to be winning some sort of award for this. Is there an award for blogs? Anyway, I'm going to tell you about one of the most courageous people I know. My dad. He had the raw courage that it takes to start his own business, and take it to success. It takes guts to risk everything to start from scratch with a brand new idea, and take it public. People who have the courage to that have the courage to do almost anything, especially if they put their mind to it. He has done it once and I believe he can do it again.

RAFT

RAFT Civil War

You know, the first time you came here, it was cool, the second time, it was ok, the third was kind of boring, and now I question why you keep on coming back? Do you find this entertaining? Anyways, what do you want to know today? Oh. Write a letter as if I were a black union soldier during the Civil War? Oddly specific but ok.

Dear Mother,

I write to you the day after the Battle of Gettysburg. It was brutal. I wish this war would end and we could be free. Why don't the whites see that we are humans too? Anyway, this battle was really bad. It was brother against brother for three sleepless nights, always waking at the slightest sound thinking that this was the time that the confederates would attack. We lost nearly 17,500 soldiers, but we took out nearly three times as many! We defended our home mom, and that's what counts. As of now, I am crouched in the dirt as we travel back to our base camp. I am writing by candlelight about half a mile away as not to disturb the sleeping soldiers. Goodnight.

Doctor: I have some bad news and some very bad news.

Patient: Well, might as well give me the bad news first.
Doctor: The lab called with your test results. They said you have 24 hours to live.
Patient: 24 HOURS! That's terrible!! WHAT could be WORSE? What's the very bad news?
Doctor: I've been trying to reach you since yesterday.
