8 Things
This is it. This is what you have all been fearing. This is probably my last post. A final hurrah. Before that though, allow my to give some wisdom. A piece of advice from a graduating eighth grader. These are the eight thing I think are the most important.
1. Organization
Organization is key. You never know when you may need an
old paper and it helps to be organized
2. Failing is ok
The word fail just means first attempt at learning
3. Don't procrastinate
Trust me, if you have a paper due, don't get it done
the night before. I know this from experience
4. Stress is an endless battle, don't lose
The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.
- William James
5. Study hall is a gift, use it.
It is always better to get stuff done at school and save the fun for home
5. Sports
You have many different opportunities to do sports, and you should take them.
You never know what you will like before you do it
6. Sleep
Come on, this one should be a no-brainer
7. Food
Make sure you eat enough, you're growing and need the energy
8. Pay attention
Most of the time, paying attention in class is the difference between a B and an A.
Well, I guess this is goodbye, but before I go, here is one last joke
A student recognizes Einstein in a train and asks: Excuse me, professor, but does New York stop by this train?
